I used to be very frightened by Wine. Nervous that the one I might order would not be what I wanted. Then I suppose I figured it was a journey and lesson each time I tried something new. So I embraced wine. All! I have found very few I dislike. :)
A year ago in Septembe, I joined with WineShop at Home. I had always looked at jobs with Wineries but since I had no experience, I never expected to be able to share my love of wine in such a setting. I now have a job, going from house to house, business to business, sharing and showcasing wines out of a Winery in Napa! I love it! Never having been to Napa, or really any other wine region, just dreaming of the day I can, I was pretty nervous to do this. ( I have since had the chance to visit a few Virginia Wineries and loved it!) We do literally bring the wine country to you. What a fabulous way to learn about wines and try them in the comfort of your home and with your friends. Look to hear much more from me as I branch out in this endeavor and embrace all that wine is.
